News travels fast these days, but in case you hadn’t heard already… that’s right! Your favourite broadside holiday destination has been awarded in the inaugural South Norfolk Business Awards 2019, for the category Visitor Economy Experience, sponsored by Dunston Hall Hotel. We even beat the likes of The Corn Hall and Lotus Driving Academy to pinch the top spot. How humbling!
To quote the official article,
“The 19th Century trading stop for working Wherrymen at Burgh St Peter has become an award-winning holiday park and marina. Open all year round, it features the extended Waveney Inn, luxury holiday lodges, 5-star glamping and boat hire, and a ferry link to Carlton Marshes Nature reserve.”
Judges say they were impressed with our team’s strong drive for sustainable and responsible tourism, a wide range of facilities designed to grow the year-round visitor economy, and our business plan for future growth.
Crikey! Well, thanks a lot to South Norfolk Council for organising and hosting the awards, to Dunston Hall Hotel for sponsoring our award, and to you, our lovely readers and customers, for continuing to support us, and allowing us to continue to strive towards our goals!
