Following the announcement of the Roadmap to Recovery, we will be contacting everyone with holidays commencing prior to April 12th to arrange cancellation or transfer.
These pitches measure 6m x 4m and are located adjacent to the river and mooring dyke. The pitches are not serviced or lit and parking is on the car park. Not suitable for very young children off the lead, but ideal for some early-morning fishing (in season).
Our Teal pitches are located on the edge of our campsite, conveniently close to the pool and showers. They are 10m wide by 6m deep, on level ground and feature electric hookup. 60 sq.m is a good size for a 2 man tent, with car – but please don’t expect to put your family dome tent on here!
This lovely waterside pitch is perfect for anglers (in season), as it’s right on the corner of the river and mooring dyke. The tree lined pitch measures about 12m x 6m. Please note that this pitch is not serviced or lit, and parking is on the car park. Not suitable for very young children off the lead, but ideal for some peace & quiet, and watching the boats go by.
Our Bittern pitches occupy row 3 of our campsite, in an elevated position overlooking the marina. They’re all on level ground, measure a respectable 76 sq.m (9.5m x 8m) and all have electric hookup. Remember that your tent (with guy ropes) and your car need to fit into the space. Pitches suitable for tents and trailer tents.
Our Moorhen pitches occupy level ground on row 2 of our campsite. They are all 11.5m in width by 8m deep, face the marina, and feature an electric hookup point. Pitches suitable for tents and trailer tents.
Our massive supersize pitches measure a gigantic 144 sq.m (12m x 12m) – but remember that you need to fit your tent, guy ropes and car into this space, so no marquees please! These pitches are only 8m from our marina so you have a perfect view of the water. Of course, you have an electric hookup. Pitches suitable for tents and trailer tents.
We offer camping pitches of varying sizes, all with fantastic views of the marina with most pitches separated by native hedges. The pitch sizes listed below are the overall pitch sizes – you must choose one which is large enough for your caravan (or motorhome or tent), your car and any guy ropes. All our camping prices include use of the swimming pool throughout your stay. Maximum pool capacity and fair use policy applies. Our campsite is set in an idyllic south-facing location in the southern Norfolk Broads, with views over the river, spacious pitches & great facilities Getting started When booking your Norfolk Broads camping experience please do not underestimate the size of your tent. You must allow a minimum 3m gap between your own accommodation and units on adjoining pitches. The 3m spacing is required by law for fire safety and it is up to you to ensure that you locate your camper van or tent in such a way as to ensure that the safety gap is not compromised. In order to protect the safety of all of our visitors in our Norfolk Campsite, we reserve the right to ask any customer to move their camper van or tent if they do not comply with these requirements. Our Kingfisher and Heron pitches are recommended for touring caravans and motor homes. If you have a smaller camper van up to 6m long (eg VW, Bongo, van conversion) then please select one of our Bittern camping pitches. Trailer tents can be located on any of our camping pitches (of an appropriate size). All our pitches have fantastic views across the marina. Our family pitches are no less than 8m x 9m overall whilst our premium Coot pitches are now a frankly enormous 12m x 10m which is surely enough for anyone. All pitches on our main camping area have electric hook-up as standard.
