Here's looking at you, fry

Norfolk and Suffolk are famous for their rich diversity of habitats, from the wetlands of the Norfolk Broads to Minsmere Nature Reserve on Suffolk's Heritage Coast. Whether you're an expert, keen amateur or just mildly interested, our friends at Wildlife Tours & Education
will give you the opportunity to get up close to our fauna & flora - including species such as the Swallowtail Butterfly which are found nowhere else in the UK.
Your guide will fit in with your timings and spend the day with you at a leisurely pace. We want you to have an experience to remember and that is why we work in small groups so you have the opportunity to see, watch and experience at your own pace. Consequently, our tours are ideal for the photographer.
When on our Norfolk Safari or Bird Tours your guide will be a qualified ornithologist with expert local knowledge and years of experience watching all manner of wildlife. We have a supply of binoculars if you do not have your own and the tour leader will have a telescope for use by the group.
You'll be picked up from Waveney River Centre in one of our comfortable vehicles. Your driver has advanced driving skills and you have the comfort in knowing you have the protection of full indemnity and personal liability insurance. We do take children on our trips but would ask you to consider if you feel the nature of the outing would be appropriate. Given the wildlife nature of our tours we are afraid dogs would be inappropriate.
Our outings usually involve a modicum of walking at an easy pace. Walking boots or stout shoes are strongly recommended as well as outdoor clothing appropriate to our weather. Day tours will usually only proceed where we have two or more individuals booked for the day.
