Waveney Inn

Originally known as Marsh House (1879), the Waveney Inn has developed over the years from a small riverside pub to today's family-friendly bar complete with live entertainment and games room. The Waveney Inn is under the management of experienced publicans Nigel and Tracy Martin and is open 11:00am to 11:00pm every day during the season. Food is served daily to eat in or take-away. There is regular live entertainment throughout the summer.

Mariner’s Stores

Our Mace convenience store and off-licence stocks a wide range of fresh & frozen food, chandlery, fishing tackle, camping gear and Joules clothing - plus a range of local produce and gifts including Eddie's famous beer. Open every day throughout the year (closed Sundays November to March).

Eddie's Pool & Café

 Features an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna located in an attractive building with delightful views over the marina, river and marshes. Charges may apply for admission, short break and weekly swimming passes are available. The Pool was refurbished for the 2011 season and is open every day, all year.

 Children’s Play Area

Our children's play area features a climbing frame with swings and a new adventure play tower with slide, swings, monkey bars, fireman's pole and climbing wall. New for 2010 is a 10-stage balance trail featuring a burmah bridge, balance beam, shimmy ropes and lots more to challenge kids of all ages.

Eddie's Secret Garden

The kids will love Eddie's secret garden, where they can play hide & seek in willow huts, climb on the oak-osaur and check out the bugs in their hotels and stumpary. The garden is fair-teeming with wildlife, including birds of all kinds, butterflies, ladybirds and small children. Soon we'll have a pond dipping station too where you can use a net to discover a multitude of creatures from the deep. But whatever you do - please don't let the rabbits in!

Launderette & Information Centre

Our launderette & information centre is open 24 hours a day. There are two commercial-grade coin-op washing machines and tumble dryers, a deep sink and coin-op iron. Plus a place to sit and have a coffee whilst you wait for your smalls and plan your day.

No Broads holiday is complete without a trip on the river to explore the famous Norfolk & Suffolk Broads - either by day cruiser or canoe.

Angling is a perennially popular sport with all ages and our riverside location is the ideal spot for pike, roach and bream - either from the bank or a boat. Rods, bait, starter fishing kits and other accessories are all available from our shop.

Walking & cycling are other popular activities, or you could visit the parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, with its unusual Ziggerat tower.
