Luxury Showers

New for 2010 - luxury wetrooms, full of environmentally-friendly features.

Our new wetrooms each feature shower, basin, WC, hair dryer, shaver socket and fold-down seat. We have one shower room designed for people with disabilities and two family size rooms with baby changing mat and a toddler seat.

• Each shower room is fitted with a Vent Axia Lo-carbon Heat Recovery unit which retains 84% of the room's heat whilst providing ventilation & extraction.
• Water and heating is provided by the Queen's Award-winning MAXXflo condensing water heater from Andrews - a high efficiency water heater with fully modulating burners, producing 109% net efficiency. That must mean that if we turn it off, we still get 9%...
• The Vent Axia Tempest hand dryers use 70% less energy than conventional dryers
• All toilets are dual flush 
• Shower heads limit the flow rate to 8 litres per minute - enough for a good shower without wasting water
• Percussion-style taps help prevent the little darlings from leaving water running 'for fun'
• Underfloor heating and external wall insulation provide energy-efficient space heating, as heat is stored by the building itself
• All room lighting uses ultra-low energy bulbs and is activated by a sensor, ensuring that the light is only on when needed

So we're doing our best to help save the planet. You can do your bit by limiting the time you spend in the shower and don't spend too long with the hair dryer!

We've even twinned one of our luxury toilets with a bog in Burundi. Family cubicle number 10 now has an official twin in the shape of latrine number 1189, in Burundi's remote Giharo Province. Toilet Twinning is seen as a potty idea with a deadly serious message.
